For weeks now, we have been walking through a conversation Jesus was having with his followers, trying to prepare them for what was soon going to happen. But the reality was, he was the one who would be walking through the trauma of the events that were soon to take place…which would culminate with his death. That would be his journey. Certainly, it would impact those around him…but the reality is this was a path that he would personally have to walk. And it was an unknown journey. He would be experiencing pain to a degree that he had never experienced before. Unimaginable brutality. Heartbreaking accusations that were completely untrue. And then, the sins of humanity coming down on him with crushing force. How do you prepare for something like that? We begin a new series and see where Jesus turned first, to prepare himself for what lay ahead.

Have you ever sat at the side of the bed of a loved one who is in his final hours of life? The conversations that take place in those last few hours are very possibly the most significant of any conversation you have ever had with that person. It is in that moment they have the intensity and clarity to say what is most powerfully on their heart. In this series we will listen in on Jesus last conversation with his followers and his last prayer to the Heavenly Father regarding those he loved.

HOW TO LIVE!

We resume our series on Romans, Chapters 12-16. The Bible is a good book to have, but what does it really have to say about living life? The Apostle Paul wrote a letter to a bunch of Christ followers living in Rome in the first century. His letter is full of important information about God and how to know God…but does it have anything to say to day to day living?
